Council Meeting Minutes

Opening Prayer

Department Budgets – Please present a budget per your group by the October Council meeting

Treasurer position update – position has not been filled

Custodial Position update – will offer position to Hannah Wind per PK making sure we are in accordance with laws

Nursery Policy – Jason Brazier proposed that the language for the Nursery Policy be changed as follows: The nursery shall be staffed as follows: At least one adult who has passed the background check and completed Safeguarding Gods Children training and ideally, that individual is accompanied by another such adult or a youth grade 7-12, preferably unrelated. Motion seconded and carried.

Boy Scouts

  1. The boy scouts would like to use the Chapel January 18 -19, from 6 pm until 8am for a overnight – PK proposed and Peter Morlock seconded. Motion carried.
  2. The Boy Scouts asked to have a "lock box" with a building key in it, so that they don't have to pass the key around so much. Jason Brazier proposed and it was seconded. After discussion we found we are not comfortable with the idea of the lock box, but are willing to consider another solution. Tabled til next meeting.
