Dear Parents/Guardians,
Another year of cross-country running has begun at Liverpool Street School for grades 3, 4 and 5. Practices will be held at school during recess or lunch. There are four meets to attend this year. They are all on Wednesday afternoons:
September 21 Morell Park
September 28 O’Dell Park
October 5 New Maryland Elementary School
October 12 Nashwaaksis Middle School
October 19 Rain Date
All meets begin at 1:15 pm. If a meet is cancelled due to weather conditions, it should be announced on the radio in the morning.
Please make sure your child is dressed to race and that they have clothing to keep warm before and after they run. The children must bring their lunches and a water bottle with them on Wednesdays. We will be traveling to the meets by bus. Please send $4.00 to help cover the bus expenses. Students will need to be picked up by Parents/Guardians at the meet site at 2:10pm. (Rain date is October 19)
We have at least 2 teachers (depending on final numbers) traveling with the students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at school. We look forward to a great Cross Country season.
