WEEDERS NEEDED

You know the weeds are coming. Here’s your chance to nip them in the bud. The SRWC Weeders group is looking for volunteers to help Sunriver property owners rid their lots of noxious weeds (knapweed, toadflax and bull thistles) for a reasonable fee. Teams of two or more weed a property with the initial weeding lasting approximately one to one and a half hours. Each team will weed an additional two times, usually three weeks apart, to get rid of late bloomers. Each team sets up their own times to weed.

All the proceeds from the project go to SRWC’s charitable fund. If you would like to volunteer, put together a team with a friend or spouse, or have questions, please contact Katie Hall at 598-2075 or .
