Game: Deliver the Presents

Joeys in relay formation. Each team has a soft toy to deliver. They are told they are being checked to see if they can join Santa on his deliveries; However, there are a number of hazards on route. Each player has to crawl under the old ladies fence, jump over the sleeping dog, climb up the wall and jump down the chimney, creep through the children’s bedroom, crawl under the table and leave the present under the tree. None of the obstacles actually exist. They have to remember the order and get back to Santa. Santa can tell them what happened to them (dog woke up and bit their bottom, fire was lit and they caught fire, knocked the glass of milk on the table, a toy was on the floor and they slipped on it etc)

Game: Catch Santa’s Reindeer

Three Joeys wear a Santa hat and run around to catch a reindeer. When they catch a reindeer (other Joey) they give them the hat and they become the chaser.

Activity: Santa’s Sleigh Ride

Joeys take turns pulling each other around in the billy carts.
