Registration for ALL new students for the 2016-2017 school year will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Point Road School. This year parents will be completing the registration form online using the following website: After you complete all of the screens online, you will be prompted to print your registration form.

Please bring this form to Point Road School according to the times listed below for your last name. It is not required that you bring your child with you to registration. We hope that by suggesting a time we may prevent delay and have a more orderly and efficient registration.

Last names A - K 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Last names L – Z 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

However, if you cannot come during your assigned session, please feel free to come to the other session that day.

The primary purpose of this notice is to list the following requirements that must be presentedat registration.

  1. Your printed registration from your online registration.
  1. An original birth certificate or passport for proof of age MUST BE PRESENTED AT REGISTRATION. Board of Education Policy 5112 requires that a child must be 5 years of age on or before October 1st of the year a child enters kindergarten.
  1. 2 Proofs of Residency (acceptable proof: utility bill/receipt, tax bill/receipt, recent receipt or contract of sale/rent. If you are renting, you MUST produce a new rental contract yearly).
  1. An immunization record for each child that you are registering. (Copies will be made and originals returned to you at time of registration.)

At registration you will receive a physical form. The pre-school/kindergarten/new student physical examination must be given within 365 days of entering school to be acceptable. The physical exam must have been done on or after October 1, 2015. The exam must state what, if any, modifications are required for full participation in the school program. The form, including immunizations, must be completed and signed by your child’s physician and returned to Point Road School by July 1st. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE YOUR CHILD CAN START SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER!!

If you need a paper copy of this information, this may be picked up in either school orat the Board of Education Officeafter February 1st. Half Day Pre-school Tuition-based Lottery Information: You must complete the necessary forms in paper; there is not an online registration process for the pre-school lottery. You are asked to return all paper information on March 2, 2016. Pre-school tuition will be $4,000/year (2 installments of $2,000) for 2.5 hour AM 3 year old class OR 2.5 hour PM 4 year old class. The lottery will be drawn at the March 23, 2016 Board of Education Meeting.
