Literacy Planning
Research Paper– 2-3 Weeks
Students will write a research paper on a topic chosen from a list relevant to the 1930’s, which is the time the last two novels we read were set. They will practice informative writing and will learn and practice search and retrieve skills as well as organizational skills.

3/7 –YWBAT gather relevant information from multiple sources; assess the credibility of each source; and quote or paraphrase the data and conclusions of others while avoiding plagiarism and providing basic bibliographic information for sources.
