Kingwood Middle School PTA – Christopher Wait Memorial Alumni Scholarship

Requirements / Complete application plus type-written, double spaced 250-350 word essay, a list of three extracurricular activities during your high school years about which you are most proud, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or principal in the school you are currently attending, a copy of your parent/student’s current PTA/PTSA membership card, and a recent photo.
Eligibility / Must be a graduating high school senior from a public high school in Humble ISD and have attended Kingwood Middle School for at least one year. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent (letter of verification required) and the applicant or applicant’s parent must be a member of a local PTA/PTSA in good standing. Must plan to be enrolled full-time in an accredited college, university or technical institute. Applicant must not be in the immediate family or a member of the KMS PTA Scholarship Committee.

Asian American Engineers and Architects (AAEA) Scholarships

If applicable, please include a copy of a Student Aid Report (SAR) from FAFSA.
Eligibility / Applicants must be of Asian descent, must, at a minimum, be a graduating high school senior,

Requirements / Design a poster to be used in the fight against underage drinking. THA will reproduce, display and distribute the posters as part of its statewide alcohol awareness campaign (Hint: a design for a highway billboard).
