President Dmitri Medvedev signed a presidential decree Dec 24 which
calls for a 20 percent reduction in the personnel of the country's
Interior Ministry by Jan 1, 2012. The Interior Ministry has been
subject to serious state scrutiny over the past few months,
particularly since the death of Sergei Magnitsky, a Russian lawyer
working for London-based Hermitage Capital who died in prison due to
allegedly harsh conditions. The Interior Ministry controls Russia's
prison system, as well as the country's police force and a powerful
contingent of roughly 200,000 troops (LINK).
Medvedev's recent announcement confirms previous STRATFOR insight
(LINK) that the Interior Ministry would be a prime target in the
Kremlin clan wars (LINK), which pits chief Kremlin aid Vladislav Surkov
and his clan of GRU and the civiliki (a group of economic and legal
technocrats) against deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin and his FSB clan
consisting of siloviki (or strongmen). Surkov has long had his sights
set on the Interior Ministry, and FSB stronghold, and this latest move
indicates that he was successful in persuading Russian Prime Minister
Vladimir Putin that the Interior Ministry required some serious
purging. This announcement shows that the clan wars are heating up, and
STRATFOR will continue to closely monitor the situation as it unfolds.
4. Lauren unilaterally approached her friend Bryan Baxter and asked if he was interested in “playing a role” as her lover for several parties in order to deceive intelligence people. She later provided a list of information that he was responsible for learning in order to play the role of “L. Andrew Anderson”, a British Lord and shipping company executive. It later became apparent that Bryan believed he was being trained by STRATFOR. Lauren also added the name of “L. Andrew Anderson, investor in shipping” to her list of official STRATFOR sources of information.

Hey mister...
I want you to freely tell me (without Aud or Jade there) the truth on this. Because I respect you and consider you a real friend (which is rare)
Question... are you serious about wanting to commit to the role that I described to you the other night?
I know it sounds very glamorous and JBond, but it is honestly playing a role for a handful of silly parties... (this includes an informal poker party at a dining room table, a pool party that is pretty high class, a lakehouse weekend with activities, and quite a few informal happy hours)
Thus, it isn't very glamorous & involves alot of prep-work in learning the role --though there are a few small perks such as driving a cool car & getting to play the fun role for some silly intel ppl (including agency).
It would also require you to play my lover. No, it would not be for real, but it would have to be convincing at the gatherings as far as touching and hand holding, etc (you know).
Anyway, I wanted to know if you really wanted to be considered for this.
It would be a favor to me (if i can get you through screening). But it does require alot of details learned beforehand.
Cheers,
Lauren
