Lida district
Lida district is the largest in Grodno region and has favorable geographicalposition. It is located in the center of the region on the confluence of autoroads and railway lines which connect it to European and Baltic countries. The population of the district is 135.1 thosand people, total area – 1.6 thousand square kilomaters.
About 50% of district territory are farmlands. The district possesses favorable conditions both for foreign and domestic investors. Due to the investment projects implementation the manufacturing industry of the district started up production of combine harvesters, buses, medicines, energy-efficientlighting, paints.
