The following valid application for Premises Licences and Club Premises Certificates have been made to the Chichester District Council as a 'Licensing Authority' under the Licensing Act 2003 (the 'Act').
The Act requires the Licensing Authority to maintain a register of all applications that it receives, and this is available for you to inspect at the following address, during the specified times, free of charge.
Licensing Authority, Chichester District Council, East Pallant House, East Pallant, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1TY - Monday to Thursday - 8.45am to 5.10pm and Friday - 8.45am to 5.00pm.
The Licensing Authority is currently working to develop an on-line Licensing Register. Once complete this will be accessible on the Chichester District Council website at www.chichester.gov.uk
For ease of reference the report is broken down alphabetically into parish order.
All Responsible Authorities (e.g Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service) or Interested Parties (e.g a member of the public, Parish Council) have the opportunity to make a relevant representation against applications which are coded as follows:
LAPRE - New Premises Licence application
LAPRE1/LAPRE2 or any other subsequent number - Premises Licence Variation application
LACPR - New Club Premises Certificate application
LACPR1/LACPR2 or any other subsequent number - Club Premises Certificate Variation application
In addition, Sussex Policeonlyare permitted to make a relavant representation in respect of applications coded as follows:
LAPRED - Variation of a Premises Licence to change the Designated Premises Supervisor
LAPRES - Transfer of a Premises Licence
LATEN - Temporary Event Notice
When making a relevant representation in respect of a particular application, this must be made in writing to the Principal Licensing Officer, Commercial and Public Safety Team, Environmental Health Services, East Pallant House, East Pallant, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1TY or by email to
Each unique application number shown on the left hand side of the report is coded with a series of letters, this depicts the type of application which has been made.
With regard to the Temporary Event Notices (cases coded LATEN), the appropriate start and end date for each event has been
provided.
The purpose of this report is to draw your attention to the submission of new applications under the Licensing Act 2003, it is not intended fully to describe the details. If you consider that a proposal affect you, an inspection of the application should be made at the above offices.
