Gulliver
§ MB to send information to Gulliver meeting. AS suggest Gulliver committee to meet with us.
List Serve
§ AS to check numbers.
§ Send email to encourage members to use to promote good news stories
3. Reader Development plan / Marketing plan
- LB to email marketing plan skeleton
- MB to circulate ‘our community’ link.
- Forward any existing marketing plans to MB.
4. Summer Read Campaign – Susan McLaine
§ Event confirmation – still awaiting Author details. Events to begin January.
§ Book list has been emailed out
§ Brochure going to print (available prior to 20/11 launch) and includes voting form
§ Promo material includes bookmarks, shelf-talkers and posters
§ Request for front cover images to be available as jpegs
§ Web-site live from 14/11/07. Will include voting online and authors blogs
§ SMS set-up to include a automated reply
§ Any ideas for 2008 to forward to Susan
§ MB suggested information session prior to next years initiative
§ Brainstorming ideas – titles based on genres, titles to be 50 – 50 Vic and Australia-wide, book and film connection
