LHS Student/Teacher Checkout Guidelines 2017

- Students: Please be sure to check your mailing address on your checkout card and make corrections for future mailings!
It is recommended that teachers sign the checkout cards near the end of each block after students have been cleared of any obligations.
All students must obtain all teacher signatures and meet their fee obligations as printed and or attached on their checkout card.
Note: All fines and debts (club, athletic, scholastic, etc.) owed to the school must be paid by the student as part of checkout each year. Some courses require a materials fee. Students who choose to take these classes are expected to pay these fees to participate.
Wyoming State Law states: "No diploma or credit for a course which has been completed successfully shall be denied a pupil who has earned it; provided, such a diploma or credit shall not be deemed earned until payment has been made for all indebtedness due to the school district."
NOTE: Student Athletes must return their equipment, uniforms to the Head Coach of their sport ONLY!!
Do not bring them to the Activity Office.
Students will be taking semester exams during each block indicated during the Final Exam Week.
NOTE: Students will receive their checkout cards on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from their first block teachers.
Please do not fold, spindle, or mutilate the checkout card. The checkout card must be collected and accounted for as part of the checkout process!
If a student is not present in the 1st block class on Tuesday, May 30th, please return the remaining checkout cards to Pam Fisher in the Main Office immediately! Students who may have been absent will pick up the checkout card directly from Pam Fisher.
Checkout cards may have fee amounts owed printed on them that have been accrued throughout the student’s attendance while enrolled at ACSD #1 for various reasons. Second Semester fines will be added to your checkout card if you owe fees as youcheckout through your classes during the week of May 30-June 1 of 2017.
ACSD #1 requires that students pay the fees owed to the district on a yearly basis as part of the yearly checkout procedures. Fees may be assessed for classroom /activity fees, sport equipment not returned and other athletic fees due to the district during the year.

Monday: No School Memorial Day!
Tuesday: May 30: Blocks 1, 3, 5, 7 Semester Final Exam Schedule.
Wednesday, May 31: 2, 4, 5, 6 Semester Final Exam Schedule.
Thursday, June 1: Half Day Gold Day Blks 1-7. Dismissal be @ 11:15 am. There will not be any breakfast or lunch served on this day. Food Service will not be in the building. Busses will pick up students @ 11:45 am -12:00 pm.
Block 7 teachers will collect all of the 2017 Checkout cards at the end of 7th block. Please alphabetize and turn them in to the Bookkeeper, Helen Peters by the end of the day.
Students only need to see the bookkeeper prior to final checkout if they have fees to pay. The bookkeeper will be located in the open Activity Window located past the attendance office and near the Activity Office on Tuesday and Wednesday. The bookkeeper will be available between classes, during lunch and after school. Do not come during class time, she will not be available to help you.
Special Notes
Cafeteria Plainsman Deli: Clearance must be obtained through ACSD #1 Food Service if you owe money. Balances due for the Cafeteria must be paid for in the Cafeteria. Checks can be made out to LHS Food Service. The bookkeeper cannot cash checks to obtain funds to pay fees owed to Food Service. The student will need a method of separate payment. The cafeteria will be available before school, between classes. After 3 pm payment can be made in the Coffee Shop on the second level. Please make sure to pay your account to Food Service on May 30th or May 31st.
Library: Fees owed will be indicated on your checkout cards. All Library fines must be paid for in the Library. The bookkeeper cannot cash checks to pay for Library Fines. Students will need a method of separate payment.
Lockers: Senior Students ONLY must clean out their hallway locker and their PE locker. Fees will be assessed if a locker is not cleared of items. Lockers will be cleaned immediately after the students leave for the summer by the LHS Custodial Staff. Please do not leave items in the lockers! We are not responsible for items left within a locker after school is dismissed for the summer. Locks may be turned in to any teacher.
