Our guest speaker is Dan Munson with Leviton Manufacturing. Mr. Munson is the Director of Government Accounts for Leviton and has been involved with Information Technology for over 22 years starting with a formidable background in engineering and installation of IT systems for the Department of Defense and Commerce. Prior to arriving at Leviton he held numerous positions with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), including posts as a field service representative, program manager and engineer. There he also worked as the system engineering lead for the acquisition of a multi-billion dollar IDIQ US Air Force contract vehicle—NETCENTS.
Munson served in the United States Air Force (USAF) as a Communications Cable Systems Journeyman for nearly eight years. His assignments included Incirlik AB, Turkey, Anderson AFB, Guam and MacDill AFB, Florida. He holds an RCDD from BICSI, is a co-author of BICSI’s CO-OSP Manual, and has earned numerous citations and commendations from Leviton, General Dynamics and The United States Air Force. Munson is a resident of Norman, Oklahoma where he and his wife Laura are involved with several non-for-profit agencies including the Wounded Warrior Project, Bethesda, Habitat for Humanity and Gratis Community Garden.
