Level Playing Field - Administrator

Level Playing Field is seeking to appoint an Administrator with the successful candidate reporting directly to the Access & Development Manager. This position will be based at LPF’s offices in the Wembley area of London with regular office hours from Monday to Friday.

Level Playing Field (LPF), a registered charity in England and Wales, is a campaigning and advisory organisation that promotes equality and inclusion for all sports fans. By working with key stakeholders, LPF aims to promote best practice solutions and improve access to sports venues and services so that disabled sports fans can enjoy live sporting events (and non-match day activities) alongside fellow fans. LPF’s membership includes professional clubs, equality and disability NGOs and governing bodies alongside disabled supporters groups, their advocates and individual members.

Key Responsibilities include :

  • General administration duties including answering calls, email enquiries, opening and scanning the post, preparing correspondence, ordering stationary, filing, taking notes at meetings and collation of various project tools and documents.
  • Reporting to the Access & Development Manager.
  • Updating the website, preparingthe e-newsletter and updating the data management system.
  • Assisting with the organisation of meetings and events.

Person Specification

Key skills, competencies and qualifications required :

  • A good understanding of IT and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Good communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Good organisation and planning skills.
  • The ability to carry out instructions as well as working on own initiative.
  • Loyal, self-motivated and passionate about the aims and objectives of Level Playing Field.
  • Desire to work in, and as part of a small and dedicated team.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience of working in the disability sector.
  • An outline knowledge of access awareness and disability etiquette (training will be given)
  • An interest in football and/or other sports.
