- Navigate your Learner Dashboard(5 min)
The Learner Dashboard is where it all starts. Check out the features of your “control center”.

- Access the Program Library(15 min)
There are over 40 programs in EI’s Program Library! Which programs will fit best with your existing PD initiatives?
- Guided tour:Find programs for teachers and principals, locate the educational experts you admire and find powerful classroom examples. Observe how to navigate the program menus and access the handouts, activities, journals, assessments and bullet points available to enhance your learning.
- Optional hands-on activity*: In groups, access pre-selected programs that fit with current school-wide initiatives / areas of interest. Get your feet wet and explore the content, find great videos, share highlights and discuss implementation ideas. *Strongly recommended.
5. Experience Group Learning(5 min)
Join a custom course and user group created just for you. Discover the benefits of group learning from a learner’s perspective.
- Build a Personal Learning Plan (PLP)(10 min)
Learn how to create a personal learning plan aligned to your own PD goals. See how easy it is to mix and match content by choosing clips from popular rubrics, adding short classroom clips and comprehensive modules that feature nationally-recognized educational experts.
- Guided tour: Examine the PLP tools for teachers and administrators. Observe how to build a plan, export it as a PDF and update it throughout the year. Gain an understanding of how to effectively implement a PLP initiative that connects teacher evaluation results to prescriptive PD.
- Optional hands-on activity: Create two kinds of PLP’s: One for a new teacher aligned to your preferred teacher evaluation rubric and one for a principal based on the ISLLC standards.
- Create Accountability(10 min)
If you have “Group Leader” access, we will have a quick look at a special dashboard created for district administrators and principals.
- Guided tour: Through the Group Leader Dashboard, we will examine different types of administrator reports that allow you to easily monitor viewing progress and create accountability. The Group Leader Dashboard is also where you can create learning groups and custom courses (a thorough look at this process is provided in the Custom Course Design workshop).
- Create your Implementation Plan(15 min)
Consider the implementation best practices and lessons learned from other school systems. We’ll explore ideas for blending learning, address FAQ’s and create a plan for starting your e-learning initiative.
- Review and Q & A(15 min)
Workshops conclude with a fun true-false activity to review the main points from the workshop. Ample opportunities for discussion and questions will be provided for all participants
Pricing
Workshops are flexible and can be delivered on site or remotely via webinar. A guided tour provides an orientation to the features and programs in EI’s online academy. It works best when addressing large groups
Hands on workshops are strongly suggested so participants can log in and explore programs and features. For hands on workshops, please keep group sizes small (Max: 20 participants).
