Lifting appliance used:
Undertake user checks on the equipment;
Test date, tyres/wheel condition, brakes (if fitted), steering and general condition.
Undertake user checks on the task;
Check the layout of the operation and height, distance of travel and proximity of lift and lower points with respect to the load size and weight and body

Safe handling technique (as defined in part 1) demonstrated throughout operation
Manoeuvring Lifting appliance
Candidates should be assessed on their ability to manoeuvre a trolley or truck around a series of obstacles, such as traffic cones whilst maintaining good posture and control of the trolley/aid
