Letting Agreement

Non Regular and ‘one off’ events.

  • The premises are controlled by St Boniface Church PCC, Quinton Birmingham.
  • The Hall Administrator is Mrs Maureen Stand 185 Ravenhurst Road, Harborne (Tel 427 3719 Email )who will be glad to assist applicants with any queries.
  • Letting of the Church premises to those who are not Church members is subject to availability and to the activities for which the premises are sought. The events covered are parties, and other activities of a temporary nature.
  • The User must ensure that the Premises are not used for any activity contrary to the ethos of the Christian Faith.
  • The premises are not available for hire on Sundays nor any time after 10.30 p.m. [This is in consideration of our neighbours]
  • The hiring arrangements are on the basis of non-exclusive access as we may from time to time require access to other parts of the building.
  • PCC reserves the right to close the Premises, or any part thereof, when necessary, e.g. during church services, for church use, for building work, Polling Day etc. The User, when requested by PCC must remove items stored by the User in the part of the Premises to be closed. PCC undertakes to give reasonable notice in such circumstances.
  • The Premises must only be occupied between the times stated on this agreement. These times include preparation and tidying up time.
  • Any rights afforded by this agreement are personal to you only and may not be transferred in any way.
  • Please note that it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all Safe Guarding and Child Protection and all Health and Safety Legislation have been complied with concerning the activities for which they are hiring the building
  • Please note that any equipment brought on the premises will not be covered by our insurance and should be insured independently.
  • No Alcohol is permtted on the premises under any circumstances.
  • The hirer must take reasonable steps to ensure that unauthorised persons cannot gain access to the premises whilst the hirer is using them. (e.g. by keeping external doors locked)
  • The Emergency Exits must be kept clear at all times
