Young at Heart- Children's Fund are listening to children...
Childrenyoung people are at the heart of theChildren's Fund. When decisionsaremade about commissioning and allocating resources as well ashow children feel about being involved in decision making and sharing we ask thethem! Launch-pad productions is a company attached to Children's Fund who helpyoung people get their voices heardviadrama, film and creative games.
This helps them to get their voices heard. After this we record a reply video from the Board to let Once they have told us, we record our own video letter from the Board back to the children know how much we valued their input and how we will make use of their views.
At a project level too, listening to children is recognised as a fundamental right, which not only us to helps us to improve services, but it helps children and their families to see how having yourviews taken seriously canimprove self esteem, confidence and build not only personalconfidence but the strength of the community too.For more help on getting young people involved
