Mr. Acosta and I will show students how to login to the HUB.
GO to houstonisd.org/hub
Students will create their own account and login with their contact information, their parent’s contact information and their address and phone number.
Next Adrian will show students how to navigate the hub and the basic features of the program.
I hope to have all of my PE students registered and using the HUB before Winter break.
Lesson 2: (DAY 2)
Teach students the basic positions of Kickball:
  • Each team has as many players as you’d like
  • Just like in baseball one team stays in the in-field and forms a line behind home plate to be “up to bat”.
  • Explain to students that they will kick the ball as far as they can then try to run to first base without being tagged or out.
  • If the out-field team, passes the ball to the first baseman before the player can tag first base then they are out.
  • Review some of the basic rules of baseball with the students.
  • Make sure students know how to play the game safely – no sliding into bases since we are inside the gym and you may not throw the ball at a player above the waist (to keep players from aiming for another player’s face).
  • After 3 outs, the in-field and out-field teams switch.
Wednesday- Friday is THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!
Technology piece:
