TOPIC:ISOMETRIC PROJECTION

SUBTOPIC:MEANING, CHARACTERISTICS AND DRAWING

OBJECTIVES:-Having discussed, illustrated on chalkboard, explained and about 3 to 5 pupils trying on board; by the end of the lesson, the students should be able to;

  1. Explain the meaning of isometric projection
  2. Explain the characteristic features of an object in isometric projection
  3. Draw simple blocks in isometric projection given the dimensions

TEACHING METHODS:Verbal exposition, illustration, discussion, question and answer.

TEACHING AIDS:Prepared drawings, illustrations on board

TEACHING RESOURCES:Textbook, drawing instruments, that is, a T-square, compass, set square protractor and ruler.

CHALK BOARD PLAN

SELF EVALUATION:The students had some idea about isometric projection, especially the introductory part and the teacher decided to move further to more difficult solids apart from the cubes and cuboids. Blocks with holes, and other compound shapes were tried.

The lesson however, was successful.
