Thanks to everyone who joined our call today!!! As promised, below represents all bullets we touched upon during our call. Please let me know if you have any questions…

  • THANK YOU – THANK YOU to all Agencies for supporting our first National “go” at this event! The world of colleges and universities is ripe for the picking, and I am excited about the tremendous opportunities that lie ahead of us! This event will help us to get the word out to close to 500 facilities - US wide!
  • Address – NIRSA will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 South College Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28202
  • Schedule– Attached is an updated booth and demo coverage schedule. The intention is to have one person from each Agency at the booth at all times and ample representation from regions during the am workout and demos.
  • Booth Layout– Our home during the convention is booth 905 – directly across from the demo area…and only a few rows down from the major exhibitors such as Precor, Startrac, Matrix, etc. I’d like to offer a big THANK YOU to Robert and the South Central team who have graciously shipped their booth to North Carolina for us to use during this event. Additionally, for those of you who attended the ABC conference, our booth set up will be very similar. We will have:
  • Two bistro tables in the front with four chairs each – and a tv/dvd player displaying standard Les Mills marketing videos
  • In the back we will have 2 more bistro tables with 4 chairs each - and for more relaxed discussions, we will have two love seats and a cocktail table
  • Booth carpet will be black
  • Two handheld scanners will be used to capture lead data. Downloads from the scanner will be provided to each of you by Monday – directly after the show
  • Robert is also creating a PowerPoint presentation that we can all use on our laptops, if we want to go into more detail with a prospect at the booth. He will make that available to any interested party shortly
  • Dress code– The dress code will be a black Les Mills business casual shirt (most current logo) and black business casual pants. For those of you who placed a shirt order – the shirts arrived today, and we will have them ready for you on Thursday when you arrive.
  • Registration List – The final listing shows 1932 participants representing close to 500 facilities. At the show, we have two main markets:
  • Decision makers for New Facility or Program Sales
  • Students potentially ripe for instructor recruitment opportunities
  • Tailored Marketing – Because we have multiple audiences,we created marketing materials that speak to each person:
  • Schedule with our booth # and an outline of each day’s classes
  • College and University Sales Tri-Fold Brochure
  • New Pocket Folders containing corporate sales materials
  • Testimonials Flyer highlighting some key sentiments from licensees such as Princeton, Northwestern, University of California, U-Penn, etc.
  • Student Recruitment Flyer
  • End of Day Raffle – We will be holding an end of day raffle at the booth, on both Thursday at 6:30 and Friday at 2 PM. The winner of each raffle will get a Les Mills branded Under Armor gym bag filled with other goodies such as a wrist band, hat, towel, keychain, pen, etc. We will also hold a grand prize drawing at the end of the day on Friday which will award the winner with a free master class at their facility.
  • Give-Aways – Sara – As I type this, the Fed-Ex guy is dropping off our box of CLOUBCOUNT™ towels. So, unless you want to bring your water bottles – there is no need. Katie Guthrie can drive the towels down to NC tomorrow for use as class give-aways. Thanks anyway!!!
  • Convention Access – Just to reconfirm, our convention name badge will get us into ANY workshop, education session, etc. being offered during the event. The only event we cannot access is the awards ceremony and banquet on Saturday. Here is a link to the convention details
  • Pre-Meeting – 2:45 PM at the Booth

Does anyone have anything else? If not – I will see you all on Thursday!

Cheers,

Stephanie
