MEETING MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at6:32 pm. Dave asked if there are any questions about the Marchminutes that were posted earlier in the week and there were none. The minutes were then unanimously approved.

OLD BUSINESS

Concession Update

Coffee machine needs to be fixed and an electrician needs to look at wiring. Dawn piloted the square at the LD Invitational.

Treasurer’s Report

The current balance for the General and Operating Accounts is $66,758.85. The current balance in team accounts is $62,711.69.

According to the third quarter budget to actual review, there should be $40,000 excess cash by the end of June.

Budgeting committee will meet to discuss next year’s budget and wish list. Coaches should order their wish list according to high priority vs. low priority for next year.

Fundraising Update

Several suggestions were made for future fundraising: Youth Night (wear shirt and get in free), Casino Night (for parents), and sponsorships.

Athletic Director’s Report

-Interviews are complete for girls’ volleyball head coach.

-Champions Together Unified Track Team Event for May 6th has been canceled.

-1997 State Championship Baseball Team will be recognized on May 12th.

-American Legion Baseball @ LD

Team Updates

Wrestling – Coaches from high school and middle school working together during the off season.

Football – Team is continuing to work out during the off season.7 v 7 start tomorrow!

Softball –Only loss has been to Atlee!

Boys’ Lacrosse – Lots of new kids and they are working hard!

Boys’ Basketball –

Girls’ Basketball – JMU Basketball Camp this summer

Boys’ Soccer -

Baseball – Varsity is 9-2

NEW BUSINESS

Elections are May 10!

President, First Vice President of Fundraising and Membership, and Secretary need to commit one night a month to Bingo (core member).

Dawn Parent nominated Lisa Morris for President and Tammy Holt for Secretary.

Lisa Morris nominated Jennifer Robins for Secretary.

David Fose nominated Dawn Parent for Second Vice President and Sandra Bareford for First Vice President.

Wendy Mills nominated Kim Spiller for First Vice President.

$3300 reimbursement for football shoulder pads and helmets was pre approved so no request needed for reimbursement.

$500 in food donations was approved for the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the 1997 State Baseball Championship Team on May 12th.

Boys’ Basketball requested renewing Crossover this month in order to get a 10% discount.

Coaches’ Wish List items are due to Tripp by June meeting!

The meeting adjourned at 7:58. The next meeting is Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 6:30 pm.
