(No Lector Practice meeting in December)

Dear Lectors,

St. Lucie’s winter Mass schedule resumes in December with the addition of Sat 5:30 PM and Sunday 6:15 and 7:30 (no 7:00) and is reflected on the Dec. Lector schedule.

You will also notice blank spaces on the December schedule. If you can volunteer for any of those Mass times, please write your name in on the schedule that is posted on the bulletin board.

The Christmas schedule will be posted separately. If you would like to lector for a Christmas Mass, please let me know.

Lector workbooks for the coming new liturgical year/cycle (A) are available at the gift shop for $13. The current liturgical year (C) ends with the weekend of Christ the King, Nov. 24th.

If you have internet access, the US Council of Catholic Bishops website has the daily readings (including Sundays) available in both print and podcast format; you can read and listen simultaneously during your practice:

The Lector schedule will soon also be available online at on our new website. I apologize that it isn’t available yet, and hope I haven’t inconvenienced anyone.

Please call me if there are any changes to your Mass preferences or if there are weeks that you cannot serve during the next quarter (Jan/Feb/Mar).If anyone is able to lector occasionally at the Sunday 6:15 Mass, please let me know.
