¢  Always state your full name, form and date.

¢  Leave margins on BOTH sides: 3cm for left margin and 2cm for right margin

¢  Use A4 blank sheets unless teacher indicates otherwise. You can use writing guide lines.

¢  If your handwriting is not clear or you don’t leave space between lines to write comments, type your work on the computer:

Font: Comic Sans, 12 p

Titles and headlines: Comic Sans, 14 p, in capitals and bold type.

Space between lines: 1,5 p

Use double spacing between paragraphs. (Indent them if the teacher says so)

¢  If not required otherwise, all students can type their writings on the computer. We encourage you to do it since improvement of written versions is facilitated. Use the spelling correction tool.

¢  PROJECTS must incluye introduction, table of contents, body, conclusion and bibliography / webgraphy

WRITINGS WHICH DON’T FULFIL THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE HANDED IN.

LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE PENALISED

¢  If you want to cite a BOOK follow these instructions:

AUTHOR’S SURNAME, N. (initial letter of his/her name) (date): The title of the book in italics. Place of edition. Publisher.

E.g. BITTON-JACKSON, L. (1999): I Have Lived A Thousand Years. London, Pocket Books.

¢  If you want to cite an ARTICLE from a newspaper or a magazine follow these instructions:

AUTHOR’S SURNAME, N. (Date): ‘Title of the article between inverted commas’, Name of the magazine in italics, magazine issue, pages.

E.g. DOUGLAS, F. (1992): ‘Archaeology for students’, Science, XLI, p. 54-68.

¢  If you want to cite a WEBSITE follow these instructions:

Publisher’s name (if known; it could be either an institution or an individual).

Add a remark describing the piece of information you took.
