Leasing Agreement for NC A&T Shuttle Services

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Parking Services currently operates (5) fiveAggie Shuttle Buses and (1) one Shuttle Van for the Campus Shuttle Services. These Shuttle vehicle are available for lease to the university and to university affiliated organizations during specified times. Vehicle descriptions, availability requirements and fees are as follows:

Vehicle Description

  • (1)-one32-passenger bus
  • (1)-one 26-passenger bus w/ handicap accessible lift
  • (2)-two 24-passenger buses
  • (1)-one 23-passenger bus
  • (1)-one 18-passengerbus w/ handicap accessible lift
  • (1)-one 15-passenger van

Availability

  • Availability of the Campus Shuttle Buses will depend on the time of year that the request is made.
  • The regular campus shuttle service will not be interrupted or shorten for leasing purposes during regular class hours.
  • Note: These buses are available for In-State Travel ONLY and limited to pre-approved destinations in the city of Greensboro.

Requirements

  • A letter of request and the Aggie Shuttle Request form should be submitted to Parking Services (10) ten days prior to the date of services.
  • The primary Parking Services Vehicle Operator will be assigned to operate all vehicles. In the event these operators are unavailable, a pre-approved qualified operator will be substituted at the lessee’s expense. Any driver other than a Parking Services Driver must be a state employee. Substitute drivers must possess a valid CDL to operate a Shuttle Bus. Students are not allowed to operate shuttle vehicles.

Fees

  • Vehicle Fee (includes fuel and insurance)

-A minimum fee of $75.00 per bus will be charged for all trips less than 25 miles.

-A fee of $2.00 per mile will be charged for 25 miles or more.

  • Vehicle Operator Fee

-Fee for Vehicle Operators is $15.00 per hour. After 5pm and on weekends operator

fee will be billed at $22.50 per hour. Shuttle drivers stay on duty for the entire event.
