WEEK OF APRIL 3RD – 7TH

MONDAY, APRIL 3RD

LEARNING TARGET: I can make scale drawings to represent designs to solve problems

BELL RINGER: Students will list the three types of sketches they have drawn.

BEFORE: Teachers will go over the answers to the bell ringer to check for understanding.

DURING: Students will practice drawing a few isometric figures on isometric graph paper.

AFTER: Students will use the isometric alphabet to draw some isometric figures.

ASSESSMENT: Isometric alphabet.

TUESDAY, APRIL 4TH

LEARNING TARGET: I can make scale drawings to represent designs to solve problems.

BELL RINGER: Students will receive their isometric alphabet papers from teacher to check their grades.

BEFORE: Teacher will go over any questions students have about isometric alphabet papers.

DURING: Students will view internet page with various soma figures and choose one page to reproduce on isometric graph paper to practice drawing isometric figures.

AFTER: Students will continue to complete soma figures on isometric graph paper to practice isometric sketches.

ASSESSMENT: none.

WED, APRIL 5TH

LEARNING TARGET: I can make scale drawings to represent designs to solve problems

BELL RINGER: Students will retrieve their soma figure sketches and pull up internet page to continue sketches.

BEFORE: Teacher will go over the each students figures and respond to any questions or challenges that students are having with isometric sketches.

DURING AND AFTER: Students will complete their soma figure pages and isometric sketches

ASSESSMENT: soma figure isometric sketches.

THRUSDAY, APRIL 6TH

LEARNING TARGET: I can make scale drawings to represent designs to solve problems.

BELL RINGER: Students will receive their soma figure isometric sketches back from teacher after they have been grades.

BEFORE: Teacher will go over any questions that students have about figures. And then give directions for the next assignment.

DURING: Students will research and decide on a isometric figure that they would like to reproduce for isometric stain glass art project.

AFTER: Students will begin work on isometric stain glass art project.

ASSESSMENT: NONE

FRIDAY, APRIL 7TH

LEARNING TARGET: I can make scale drawings to represent designs to solve problems.

BELL RINGER: Students will pull up internet page or page that they are using for their project

BEFORE: Teacher will travel around the room to check for progress on isometric stain glass art project and answers any questions.

DURING AND AFTER: Students will complete isometric stain glass art project while teacher is checking student work and framing isometric art projects.

ASSESSMENT: Isometric stain glass art project.
