Learning Activity #4: Team Guidelines Project

Use the Team Guidelines Discussion to help you complete a 1-2 page document that would provide clear guidelines for team work. Indicate what team – business, academic, special project – these guidelines would be appropriate for. Include assignment expectations of team members, communication requirements, and consequences if members do not adhere to the guidelines.

Learning Activity #5: Communication in Business Paper

In a 2-3 page paper analyze the importance of good communication in a business/professional context. Cover areas of both written and verbal communication.

To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need to be thoroughly addressed.

Follow the rules of grammar and mechanics covered during the course

Fully comply with APA standards.

Use Level 1 and Level 2 headings to provide structural clarity.

Provide at least three credible scholarly sources. Citations to the dictionary should be provided on top of the required two sources. The Bible is not to be listed in the References page, but does have to be cited in-text.

Use the Paper Writing rubric provided in the syllabus to ensure you have met all the criteria.

Paper Writing Rubric

Writing is an essential part of the learning process and an academic paper is required almost every week. The Paper Writing rubric is a general rubric to follow for all papers required in this course. Resources counted towards your grade that support your writing should be scholarly. Dictionaries and non-peer reviewed sites such as Wikipedia are not considered scholarly.
