Class Description

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt 2+2 (Progressive) training

Training Format

  • LEAN Six Sigma (incorporates BOTH Lean and Six Sigma disciplines)
  • Progressive training, 2 + 2
  • Green Belts and Black Belts attend the 1st two training weeks together. Black Belts continue for an additional 2 weeks.
  • Prior trained Green Belts desiring Black Belt training only need to attend the final 2 weeks of class.
  • Duration: Green Belt – 2 weeks (over 2 months), Black Belt – 4 weeks (over 4 months)
  • Training is 1 full week approximately every 1 month
  • 100% Classroom

Logistics:

  • Training Dates - As published on the website <insert link
  • Location - Hamline University– Minneapolis location, 7th Floor, training room will be listed on 7th floor monitor,link to directions
  • Weekly Classroom Schedule: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. M-Th, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday (Friday is optional, if weekly certification exam taken Thursday evening)

  • Personal Computer – Bring your own PC to class, in order to work in-class exercises
  • Software

  • Green Belts – preferred
  • Black Belts - required
  • Microsoft Office Suite – any version
  • Project – Completed Project Charter strongly preferred to start class<link to Project Charter>
  • We will work on your project within the classroom

Pricing

  • Organizational Pricing (per week of training)
  • $1000/week - $1500/week, depending on the number of students trained over the course of a year
  • Green Belt: $2000 - $3000 per student
  • Black Belt: $4000 - $6000 per student

  • Pricing includes – Training binders and any required training materials
  • Pricing excludes – Software fees (Microsoft Office and Minitab, if required)

Training Certificate and Belt Certification

  • Certificate of completed training is provided as part of class
  • Certification as Green Belt - $150 (requires 1 project submission)
  • Certification as Black Belt - $300 (requires 2 project submissions)
  • Project submission involves sending signed project completion form (signed by Project Sponsor)<link to project submission form>

Project Mentoring (included and optional)

  • Recommended – 2 days per Green Belt project and 3 days for Black Belt project, over the course of the completion of the project
  • Included - 1 hour prior to the start of the class (to assist in the development of a project charter)
  • Optional – $200/hr or $1500/day (does not need to be full days or consecutive)

Payment Options

  • Organizations - Payment by check or direct deposit (credit card to be offered later)
  • Invoicing available
  • Individuals – By check (credit card to be offered later)

Refunds

  • Full refund if cancelled 2 weeks prior to class or earlier
  • No refund if cancelled within 2 weeks of the start of class (rescheduling is an option)
  • Do not book travel prior to confirmation of class. Class confirmation will take place at least 30 days prior to the start of the class.
