The books of Job – Malachi are examined, giving an overview of the major themes, characters and events, especially as they relate to the nature and purposes of God.

The development of the leader’s communication skills is emphasized in this course. An orientation to the dynamics of speech theory and principles will be complemented by opportunities for students to practice their skill development.

This course emphasizes Christian character development and the disciples of a Christ-like lifestyle. The student will learn how to study the Word and apply its principles to facilitate the transformation of the mind and the successful walk of faith.

BI 352 PROPHETS, PRIESTS, AND KINGS Pastor Avril Vandermerwe 3 credits

Explores the office of prophet, priest, and king in the Old Testament. The focus is on those individuals who fulfilled these roles in the way God intended, while contrasting them with those who perverted these offices. We then examine how Jesus is the perfect fulfillment of Prophet, Priest, and King. Finally, we look at how the believer is called to minister in these three ways under the New Testament.
