Declaration in Accordance with § 5 Subsections 2 and 3 of the Law on Graduate Funding from the German States (LGFG) Relating to § 4 of the Statute of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for the Implementation of the Law on Graduate Funding from the German States (LGFG)

I hereby confirm that:

1. / I will not be employed during the funding period. / ☐
2. / I will be employed in one or more position(s) during the funding period and
a)  the additional income that I will receive will not exceed a gross amount of 20,000 Euros per annum (according to § 4, Subsec. 1, 2 of the Charter of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) regarding application of the State Law on Graduate Promotion). / ☐
b)  the additional income that I will receive does not exceed a gross amount of 20,000 Euros per annum plus 1000 Euros per child* per annum (if I have applied for a family allowance) (according to § 4, Subsec. 1, 2 of the Charter of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) regarding application of the State Law on Graduate Promotion). / ☐
c) if and when there is an existing employment relationship with KIT, or one is to be concluded, to inform the service unit Human Resources (PSE) of the scholarship. / ☐
4. / I am not receiving any corresponding funding for the research project in question from public or private institutions and have not done so in the past. / ☐
