Large-Scale Residential/Mixed-Use Projects
Since its start in 1996, Aoyuan Group has grown to become a major real estate development company in China, having completed over 100 projects and in 2017 achieved $9 billion in sales. It is a fully transparent publicly-listed company in Hong Kong with Deloitte as its auditors. Recently Aoyuan has established a stated strategy of “Parallel Development in Domestic and Overseas Markets”, with a three-year target of 10% of its revenue coming from selected international markets. In 2015 Aoyuan opened in Sydney, Australia and has enjoyed a very successful start there. It now has 9 active projects, some of which are ‘trophy’ projects including, for example, the One30 Hyde Park project which set a new sales price record for apartments in Australia (see one30hydepark.com.au).
Now it is Canda’s turn. Aoyuan started acquiring development sites here in 2017 and already has four excellent sites in the Vancouver area including:
· almost an entire city block in Burnaby, one block away from Brentwood Town Centre, planned to include 4 residential hi-rise towers and many other components
· a residential hi-rise site very close to Surrey City Centre
· a mid-rise mixed-use site at Granville & 7th Ave. in Vancouver
· a 5/6 storey residential site at Quebec & 33rd Ave. in Vancouver
Aoyuan is building the Vancouver-based team that will bring these projects successfully through the development process while continuing to seek additional sites. The Senior Development Manager can expect to have responsibility for a variety of diverse projects over time. We are seeking a talented real estate development professional with at least 10 years of development management experience, including some hi-rise or mid-rise residential projects.
