Large Group Performance Evaluation

Dear Parents,
On Tuesday March 17th the Tapp Middle 7th grade Tigers of Harmony Chorus students will be participating in the annual Large Group Performance Evaluation for Cobb County Schools. This is our opportunity to show the GMEA judges what we’ve learned in our rehearsals. Since this is the first time many students will go, it is very important that both students and parents understand what is going to happen and what the rules are. Please read the rehearsal schedule and return the bottom portion of this sheet and keep the top half for your reminder. Chaperones are needed for this performance—Please let me know ASAP if you are available to do so.
· Students must wear their Tapp concert uniform for LGPE. Good personal hygiene and the use of deodorant are required for all students. Black Choir Polo, Black pants, Black Socks and Black Dress shoes. “Please see chorus handbook p.8”
· Attendance at the below rehearsals is mandatory. Students do not wear their uniforms for dress rehearsals. If students do not attend all rehearsals they will not receive a permission slip to perform and pass final singing test on March 5th.
· Students that are disruptive problems in the daily operation of class and or after school rehearsal will not receive a permission slip for this performance.
