GENERAL INFORMATION

2011/2012 Season

Rodeo’s will be held the 4th Saturday of every month at Reality Ranch Arena. 1st Rodeo will be in September and Finals will be in April.

Entry fees for the upcoming 2011/2012 season are as follows:

Entry Fees will be $25.00 per event for contestants.

Tiny Tots entry fees are $15 per event. (No payout for TT)

Fees are due upon sign in at the rodeo unless other arrangements have been made prior to call in.Entry Fees are non-refundable

(You must still be in high school to participate)

6 and under can choose to be Tiny Tots but once they ride up they can not ride down.

(Tiny Tot events are sheep riding, barrels and pole bending) Designation will be required by 2nd rodeo.

Age groups listed apply to members’ age as of September1st, 2011.

CALL IN INFORMATION

MONDAY and TUESDAY before each Rodeo

Monday 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Do not call before or after these hours and do not leave messages; you must talk with call-in secretary to be entered.

DO NOT FORGET TO CALL IN – YOU HAVE 2 NIGHTS TO CALL IN!

You will only be required to call in the first time: once a member is “called-in” that call-in is good for the whole season. If for any reason a member is not able to compete at a rodeo, you are required to call-out. If you do not call-out for a scheduled rodeo and then do not show up for that rodeo, you must call-in for the next scheduled rodeo in order to compete and you will be required pay the entry fees for the missed rodeo (double-entry fees) at that next rodeo. Members who have called-out for a rodeo are required to call-in for the next rodeo in which they will be competing. You are only allowed to call in 3 people at one time.

In case of an emergency and you are going to be late to the rodeo, call one of the secretaries @ 863-781-2013 or you will be able to compete if you have called before the start of the rodeo and if your event has not started yet.

Point System

Only the top 10 finishes in each event get points for the month. Points are 1-10 with 10 points being for 1st place, 9 points second place, etc…..

Points will be posted as soon as they have been verified, generally by the following week.

ALL POINTS BECOME OFFICIAL AT THE END OF THE NEXT MONTHS RODEO. Points will not be changed after they become verified and are official.

Finals Information

Only Top 10 come back for finals in each event for the Tots, Junior and Senior divisions and have competedin at least4 rodeos. Tiny Tots do not have a top 10but will be competing for a buckle. Saddles will be given to All-Around boy & girl in the Tot, Junior and Senior divisions. Year End Awards will be determined by Directors.

All events will follow FloridaHigh School Rodeo rules.

Call In - Monday before rodeo - 6:00pm to9:00pm. Tues 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Sign In & Entry Fees are due 30 mins prior to rodeo, books will close and no entries will be accepted. In case of an emergency and you are going to be late, you can call one of the following, 863-781-2013 Ms. Lacey, and still compete.

Western Attire at all times in arena. (Long Sleeve Buttoned Shirt, Jeans, Cowboy Boots and Hat). Hat must be on to enter arena!

Sportsmanship at all times……no cursing, fighting, etc. on rodeo grounds.

No alcoholic beverages are allowed on rodeo grounds at any time.

MINOR RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

DATES OF RODEO: September 25th-March 26th (FINALS IN April)

REALITY RANCH ARENA

I/WE HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND DISCHARGE the promoter, participants, rodeo association, sanctioning organization or any subdivision thereof, arena operator, arena owner, officials, other participants, any persons in restricted area, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, owners, lessees of premises used to conduct the event and each of them, their officers and employees, all for the purpose therein referred to as “Releases”, from all liability to the undersigned, my/our personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage and any claim or any demand on account of any injury to the participant included , but not limited to death whether caused by the negligence of the “Releases”, or otherwise while the minor is in or upon the restricted area and/or competing, officiating in , observing, working for, or for any purpose participating in the event.

The Restricted Area is defined as the arena, chutes, staging area, approaches thereto and all walkways, concessions and other areas appurtenant to any such area where any activity related to the event shall take place.

I/WE will inform and instruct the said minor participant that upon entering any restricted area the minor must continuously thereafter inspect such restricted area and all portions thereof which the minor enters and with which he comes in contact and I/WE further warrant that the minor’s entry upon such restricted area or areas and his participation, if any in the event constitutes an acknowledgement that he (minor), has inspected such restricted area and that he finds and accepts the same as being safe and reasonable suited for the purpose of his use, and he further agrees and warrants that if, at any time, he is in or about restricted areas and if he feel anything unsafe, he will immediately advise the officials of such and will leave the restricted area.

The undersigned expressly acknowledge and agree that the activities of the event are very dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and /or property damage. Each of the undersigned parents or legal guardians for the minor participant agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the “Releases”, and each of them form a any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to the presence of the said minor in or upon the restricted area or in ay way competing, officiating, observing or working for any purpose participating in the event and caused by the negligence of the “Releasees” other wise.

THE UNDERSINGED PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS HAVE READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGN THE MINOR RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AGREE THAT NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS, STATEMENTS OR INDUCEMENTS APART FROM THE FOREGOING WRITTEN AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN MADE.
