Lake Highland is seeking to hire a senior level, human resources-related leadership role (Vice President for Human Resources and Organizational Development). The Vice President for Human Resources and Organizational Development will play a key role on the Lake Highland Leadership Team and will report directly to the President.

The VP will develop and execute people-related strategies to ensure alignment with the mission, vision, core values and overall culture, and strategic business objectives of the institution. The VP will articulate HR needs and plansspecifically in the areas of performance and talent management, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employee/leadership development, employee relations, and organizational development.The VP will ensure leaders within the organization have the people and human resources tools they need to successfully execute their objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have the following minimum qualifications*

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university
  • 15 years of Human Resources(HR) or Organizational Development(OD) experience, with at least five years of senior/executive-level HR/OD experience.
  • Extensive HR generalist experience in areas, such as,recruiting/staffing, employee relations, employee benefits and compensation, HR operations.
  • Strong track record of building value as a HR leader with metrics that support your accomplishments.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to establish credibility through the organization.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. MBA orMA/MS in human resources or related field.
  2. SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)certification.
