-LakeMapping

Darrell is still waiting for the weather, to resurvey the fish pond. Dam site #1 may also be surveyed, weather permitting.

-Fish Stocking

The request for a $3500 Walleye stocking is placed with the vendor and an order needs to be called in.

* a reminder to the office, that in the next 2 weeks, the committee will be contacting the office concerning the walleye order.

If possible, the committee would like to notify residents of the “drop” date for the fish-stocking event. This will depend on the timing of the delivery by the hatchery.

NEW BUSINESS

Norm Koester announced that he would be leaving the committee. Norm has been a committee member for many years and his experience will be missed by all of the members.

-Fish sampling

During the crappie tournament (April 25th). Samples will be collected and sent to the state for analysis. These samples will include scales, length measurement, species type, and possibly weight measurement.

-later in the year (5/16?), samples may be collected during a large mouth bass tournament also

-water quality study

Mike will be in contact with the state concerning the collection of water quality data on the lake. The data collection will be the same as in 2001for comparative analysis. The study will probably take place in June. Brad may also have contacts that may be able to assist in the collection of this data.
