Dear < ,

I have just learned about an exciting offering at the SIOP Annual Conference that would allow me to significantly improve my knowledge and skills in the areas of <Insert short workshop titles from the table below>. The Preconference Workshops bring together industry leaders and experts to present on a wide range of cutting edge topics. Attending the workshops could greatly impact my work at our organization because I would come back with:

-<KSAO 1 from table below >

-<KSAO 1 from table below >

Not only will I gain the knowledge skills and abilities imparted in these sessions, but I will have access to the presentation decks from all of the sessions, providing information about several more important topics in our field.

The cost for attending the 2 half-day workshops is $450. This is an amazing deal! Similar SHRM workshops cost $760 while similar conference board workshops cost about $1500. A 1.5 day HCI Summit can cost as much as $2000. This SIOP workshop opportunity is offered only once a year, and attending would provide me with knowledge and tools that I can immediately apply to improve the effectiveness of our team. If you wish, I can share the presentation deck with my coworkers or even do a short webinar outlining what I have learned and brainstorming how we can immediately apply it to our current work.

The knowledge, skills and abilities I will bring back to our team are clearly worth the additional cost to attend the workshops, and I would greatly appreciate your consideration of this request. I’ll be glad to provide any additional information you need in order to make your decision.

Thank you,

<. .>
