The club features nine en-tou-cas surfaced tennis courts, six of which are flood lit for night tennis.
What are the details regarding membership?
Membership fees are due for renewal annually on August 1 each year but if you join during the year for the first time then a discount will apply depending on the month you join.There is a compulsory Tennis Vic Insurance Levy which the Club is required to pay to Tennis Vic for every member, for Personal Accident Insurance which is included in the membership fee. Upon approval of your membership application, all members will receive a Tennis Vic Personal Accident Insurance Card for 2015/16 for those members who nominate Koonung Park as their Primary Facility. The club has an electronic entry system (FOB key), with a $5 one off fee.

When are members able to use the courts?
Members are able to use the club facilities at any time during the day or night, provided courts are not being reserved for competition or coaching. Juniors must always be accompanied by an adult when using the courts or if other adults are present.

What are the details regarding Competition tennis?
Junior weekend tennis: We have an active base of junior players and junior competitions as part of the Eastern Region Competition ERT.
Senior weekend tennis: Our senior player competitions are conducted during the summer and winter seasons on Saturday/Sunday afternoons as part of the Eastern Region Competition ERT. There is a range of mixed teams to suit all playing levels.
Night tennis:Night competitions are conducted during the summer and winter seasons on evenings Mondays through Thursdays from 7pm as part of the Blackburn & District Night Tennis Association BDNTA.
Pennant tennis: The club has an active group of pennant players.
Mid-Week Ladies Tennis: Both social and competition opportunities are available on various days.you don't play, just come and enjoy the company.
Masters Tennis: Masters Veterans tennis is available for all players 50 years of age or over. Competition is held on Thursday afternoons as part of the Metropolitan Veterans and social play is held on other occasions.

Coaching at Koonung Park Tennis club is provided by Dylan Edgley and his coaching team. With over 15 years of experience, their aim is to bring out the best in you. Dylan Edgley is an advanced coach with Tennis Australia and offers a complete coaching program that will provide you with all coaching requirements to continue your tennis journey.
