Best Weathercast, Best Feature and Best Promotion among honors received

COLUMBIA, MO – The Missouri Broadcasters Association (MBA) honored KOMU 8 News with awards in numerous categories at its annual awards banquet on June 5th. The MBA encourages the highest standards in broadcasting by recognizing and sharing examples of excellence and achievement.

KOMU 8 Meteorologist Michelle Bogowith won Best Weathercast for Mid-Missouri and all other medium-sized television stations across the state. This is the second year in a row a member of the LIVE Doppler 8 First Alert Weather Team has received this award.
