REGIONAL SEMINAR FOR TACIS – INTERREG KOLARCTIC PROJECTS APPROVED IN 2004 – 2006.

Delegation to the European Commission to Russia and the Regional Council of Lapland are arranging a one-day seminar for Kolarctic-Tacis Project implementers, financiers, members of the steering committee and other central stakeholders.

The aim is to bring together all central actors within the Kolarctic-Tacis Projects, to get familiar with achievements and challenges of the projects and to prepare ourselves into Kolarctic ENPI CBC Programme. The seminar is also an excellent opportunity to meet other project actors and stakeholders, discuss new project ideas and partnerships.

The programme continues on 17th August with seminar on Project Management in Cross Border Cooperation. It is organised by Finnbarents and is anexcellent opportunity to learn project management skills to be put to usein coming ENPI CBC projects also.

It is desirable that at least one representative from each project could attend the seminar. However, not more than five persons form each project could attend. A short presentation should be given about all the projects.

Languages of the seminar will be English and Russian.

Bus transportation from Lapland to Murmanskon 15th Augustis under arrangement. The return will take place on 17th August right after closing of the Project Management seminar. More information about transportation will be announced later.

The seminar day is free of charge but participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. Projects can cover those expenses from the project budget.
