  • KM welcomed and thanked everyone for attending.

  • There are no conflicts of interests.
  • Previous minutes approved.
  • DBS checks needed for new Committee members. Forward details to SH.

3 / XMAS FAYRE
ACTIONS ITEM REPORT
GO KARTS
  • Electric not available. Have booked pedal. Operator is included. Will offer timed tickets, but price included in wristband.
David S Sales order
  • Balls not ordered.
  • PTA cupboard checked for games prizes, which there are loads of. Nothing more needs to be ordered.
    2 x tubs of sweets available.
COMMS
  • Parent Mail went out.
  • SH to go to assembly to talk to kids about non-uniform days, bottle donations, volunteers, raffle tickets, toy, family kitchen and cake donations.
RAFFLE DONATIONS
  • DT has approached High St businesses with some success.
  • SH to provide DT with details for Lupollo
  • Suggested that next year we approach businesses much earlier (SUGGEST AUGUST) as their budget has mostly been used up.
FACE PAINTING
  • SH’s face painting trainer has let her down. SH has approached other face painters for training.
MAJESTIC ORDER
  • Still to be done. Ros T has 10% discount card with Majestic.
STALL RUNDOWN
NURSERY 2 X BOUNCY CASTLES
  • AF reports that have 10 signups to help.
RECEPTION: BUCKING PUDDING AND FUN RUN ALLEY
  • DT all slots covered.
  • PJ inflatables are dealing with all H&S aspects and volunteers needed for collection of money and queue control.
  • DT to get pictures of rides to distribute to volunteers to reassure.
Y1 TOYS
  • VT, stall is OK. Has many helpers Friday for sorting of toys.
  • Any helpers Friday with need to be DBS checked or with DBS checked person. Monica and Clare will be at school all Friday to setup grotto and both are DBS checked with school. Also need to sign in with Mrs Zinni.
  • Suggested that some Friday volunteers be used Saturday.
  • Y1 has had very good take-up with volunteers, so WhatsApp sent out asking for people to volunteer for other stalls.
  • Also, toys sort, Nursery and Reception get first choice, then items go on sale, what is left over at end of the Fayre Kids in Charge can take. Unsold items will be sorted again and disposed of after Fayre.
Y2 GAMES
  • VT, signup going out. RK is dealing.
Y3 XMAS CRAFTS AND BBQ
  • MN handling crafts and gingerbread. Have had signups.
  • Issue with BBQ. To be taken offline.
  • OLOL PTA BBQ’s are actually with Noel, SH to check.
  • TOS to order meat from Barry’s.
Y4 CAKES, BAR, SWEETS
  • All beers, wine and mulled wine premix to come from Majestic. SH to place that order.
  • Orange, cinnamon and extra bottle openers from Costco
  • Please ensure that partially opened stock from the PTA cupboard is used before any new Majestic order.
Y5 FAMILY KITCHEN
  • Having a meeting tonight, all under control. Request for dishes went out in newsletter
  • Please ensure that tins are labelled. Any tins or dishes from previous years are currently in the benedict building.
Y6 PENALTY SHOOTOUT
  • SH to contact Premier Sports.
  • Balls to be ordered.
  • SH to get Y6 boys to staff.
Y6 GROTTO
  • All prep done and under control
  • Tickets currently on sale for helpers. To go GA Monday.,
GO KARTS
  • KM point person.
  • Additional volunteers will be needed on day. Please come see a member of PTA for direction to appropriate stall in need of volunteers.

  • MN and AF both have friends who have requested stall.
FACEPAINTING
  • Patricia Gari leading.
  • SH to organise training.
SIGNAGE
  • Posters printed and put up along High St and in class.
  • Banner at school put up.
  • High St Banner this weekend.
ONLINE SALES
  • Ready to go. GA release once stall volunteers have booked grotto tickets.
SITE PLAN
  • AR/SH to refine site plan.
  • Rassi requested list of stalls handling £. AR to provide.
  • AZ provided inflatable dimensions. Bouncy 13 x 10, 12 x 12, fun run 30ft.
RAFFLE
  • Need to stuff the tickets.
  • Donna Tooth has approached local businesses for prizes.
  • SH to provide JB with details of electronics to see if ipod and kindle fire can be purchased at a discount.
COSTCO RUN
  • Please can stall provide Suzi with details of Costco requests by Monday 27th.
ADDITIONAL SPEAKER
  • SH to source the already agreed upon speaker.

STALL DOCUMENTATION
  • AR will distribute event forms. Could the year group stall holder please take the time after the Fayre to fill in. This will help document the process of running that stall.
  • AR will then post these onto the PTA section of the school website.

Raised £3k for new wheelchair, thankyou everyone who attended this event
FUTURE FUNDING PROJECTS
  • More discussions on the Gazebo Windows and Library bus to be discussed in the new year on Feb 22nd meeting.
  • PTA to determine if another interim meeting is required before the Feb 22nd meeting.
