DECEMBER 2016 NEWSLETTER AND MEETING MINUTES
November 2nd Meeting PUD called to order at 7:31pm

New members introduced: Jordon Tye and Emily Neiburg - Welcome to KCRC!!
Old Business: Motion was made concerning stock contractors: In the event an animal has died due to a roping accident the club will pay 100% market value, in the event the animal is alive, but can never be roped again, KCRC will pay 2/3 of the market value of the animal. Motion made by Christina B and 2nd by Carly D. Passed
New Business: Julie B. went to the Ellensburg Rodeo Royal Court Riding and reported that all 4 of the girls competing did very well, some excelled in the riding will others excelled in the meet and greet.
Tuffy will be finding options as to where to hold our banquet in January. Thank You Tuffy, once again!!
Reminders to be thinking about being an officer for 2017, positions that are open are President, Vice President and Secretary.
Be thinking of who should be the Most Improved for 2017!! We have a lot of members that improved this year, so it will be tough call to make.
Reminder that there will be the executive and flagging committee meeting following the points roping

NEXT MEETING: DUE TO THE NFR THE DECEMBER MEETING WILL BE
DECEMBER 14TH
The officers feel that this is best for the club to move the meeting date the next following Wednesday
Kittitas Co. PUD 7:30pm – New officers will be voted in for the 2017 year, any rule change proposals MUST be made into motions at this meeting and voted at the January meeting before the first points roping of the year.

Executive and Flagging committee meeting at 6:30 Sunday November 13th Red Horse—
The purpose of this meeting is to take in all the nominations for Most Improved and vote, plus to recategorized ropers for the new year: Listed below are only the members that we changed, if you don’t see your name, we left you where you where, if you feel you were either moved incorrectly or want to be moved, please bring a letter to the December meeting, but no later than the January meeting to plead your case:

Please think of being an officer!! We always need new ideas and fresh faces working for this association. It is time for those of us that have been officers and volunteers, either a couple of years or even more, to help others to volunteer and keep things going!! Remember, none of us will leave you high and dry, we will always be available for questions or advice.
Please remember the December meeting will on the 14th, due to the fact that, most everyone will either be in Las Vegas for the NFR or at home watching it
