Directions to the venue

From the M1 Southbound Junction 22 and follow the A50 towards Leicester. Right, on to the A46 back towards the M1/M69 and take the first exit off (non-motorway traffic) follow the signs for Kirby Muxloe. On entering the village, straight over both roundabouts then immediate right turn into the Sports club.

From the M1 Northbound Junction 21a, and take the A46 slip road off the exit road off the M1, first exit to Kirby Muxloe. Follow the signs to the village, straight over both roundabouts and immediate right into Sport Club.

From the A46 Follow the signs to Kirby Muxloe, the last junction before you join the M1 south, On entering the village, continue over both roundabouts and immediate right turn into the sports club.

Catering : Sausageand bacon rolls will be on sale at breakfast and beef burgers will be available at lunch. Tea and coffee and cakes will be on sale throughout the day.

Photography : Under the provisions within the GNAS Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the organisers on arrival. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that unauthorised photography does not take place, KMAC, the organisers and working party cannot be held responsible for breaches of this code. We therefore request that you report any unauthorized photography directly to the organisers.

4.2.3 An athlete may participate in a Cadet Class in tournaments when the competition takes place up to and in the year of his 17th birthday.

4.2.4 An athlete may participate in a Junior Class in tournaments when the competition takes place up to and in the year of his 20th birthday.

Closing date : Friday 11th August 2017 or when full. A target list will be emailed to participants. If you require a hard copy of your score sheet please send a SAE with your entry for this purpose.

Record Status Shoots : are liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply. A refusal will be treated as a positive sample. Parents of juniors must fill in the drug testing section of the entry form.

Dress Code : This is a Record Status event therefore the current GNAS dress regulations must be observed by all competitors.

Registration : Please book in at reception on arrival to avoid your place being reallocated to reserve archers. Current AGB membership cards will be checked when booking in.

Arrows : The KMAC venue is a shared sports facility, as such, lost arrows cannot remain unaccounted for. To minimise the risk of undetectable arrows being left on the sports field, archers wishing to use arrows that are not metal detector responsive i.e. all carbon, are requested to identify their equipment to the organisers at registration and also on departure.

Charity : KMAC is a proud supporter of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance. Voluntary donations to this charity are welcome at the refreshment tent.

Shooting

Morning and afternoon sessions comprising of; Senior Recurve 70m, Cadet Recurve 60m and all Compound archers 50m.

Four archers to a boss in two details. 50m bosses will be of layered foam construction mounted on 'H' frames, 60m and 70m bosses; Danage. Format; 2 periods of 6 dozen arrows shot in ends of 6 in 4 minutes on a 122cm, 10 zone face for recurve and 80cm, 6 zone face for compounds. Shooting will be controlled by traffic lights. Inspection of equipment will take place BEFORE the morning 45 minutes practice period.

Teams Recurve only or Compound only teams of four archers, to include at least one cadet or lady.

WA Master

(Aged 50 or above) Lady & Gent – entry dependent.

Others Juniors and other bow disciplines dependent on entries.

NB Score will be eligible for the UK ranking system.
