Announcement
Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and the Chair of Industrial Relations Working Group would like to inform the public and workers of Garment and Shoe Factories that:
1. Samdech Akamohasenabadeydecho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia has made a highly respectful principle for employers of Garment and Shoe factories to provide allowance to workers’ wages of 6 USD per month from April, 2008.
2. The Labor Advisory Committee will hold a meeting on April 04, 2008 to fulfill it in compliance with the Labor Law in providing the allowance.
Therefore, please all the public, workers and leaders of union organizations be kindly informed, especially appeal to union leaders to stop their strikes happening in certain factories and return to work as usual to ensure the interests of all workers, factories and the whole nation.
