CONDITIONS OF PARTICPATION

  1. Participants shall display and sell only Fine Art which they have created. No ready-made, pre-purchased end-items, crafts or jewelry are permitted.
  2. Include sample photo of work with application (unless you have a webpage), along with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Artwork should be displayed off of the ground.
  3. Display areas are on cement and are 10’ X 10’. All spaces are outdoors.
  4. Artists are responsible for his/her sales and must posses a resale number.
  5. NO ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES OR PETS ALLOWED.
  6. DISCLAIMER: The above information is correct to the best of my knowledge. I have read the Application and I hereby give the City of Redondo Beach and King Harbor Association the right to use photographs taken of me or my activity for reproduction for purposes of advertising, display, or editorial use.
  7. RELEASE OF LIABILTY: In consideration of acceptance of my entry in the above described event, I promise to inspect the event site and assure myself that the area is safe. Applicant further agrees to indemnify and to hold the following organizations, their employees and agents harmless from any liability arising out of the activity applied for: (a) City of Redondo Beach, (b) King Harbor Association (c) Event Staff.
  8. I understand that I must obtain my own insurance if I desire insurance coverage for the event(s).

ART SHOW POLICIES

  1. Method of Payment: Promotion fee of $60.00 for each art event is to be paid by cash, check, cashiers check or money order, payable to Artists By The Sea. Promotion fee due prior to event date you will attend. (Returned check - $15.00 fee)
  2. Cancellation: Refunds will not be given due to adverse weather or cancellation by artist.
  3. “No shows”: A no-show condition occurs when an artist does not show up at the prepaid event. If an artist has paid to show in two events, and does not show up on the date of the first art show, their assigned space will be forfeited. NO SHOW – NO REFUND. At next event a new space will be assigned.
  4. Parking: All artists must move their vehicles to a regular parking space, after unloading. Artists will be given ONE parking validation for either the Pier Parking or Marina Parking lot at the end of the day of each event attended.
  5. Canopies: All display areas may have a canopy. Please be prepared for winds – bring weights for canopy.
  6. Setup/Clean-up: Setup starts at 7:30AM and must be completed by 10:00AM. Clean-up starts at 5:30 and must be completed by dusk.
