13.New Connections - Irma Gary House Located in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood, New Connections’ Irma Gary House provides a supportive, clean and sober home for women recently released from correctional facilities in Washington state. Women are provided with housing, intensive case management, advocacy, and re-entry support for up to six months. New Connections helps residents meet basic needs and access support services such as counseling and job training.

14.Freedom Project Inside Prison ProgramsFreedom Project Reintegration Services. Teaches nonviolent communication and mindfulness classes to inmates in Washington State prisons. Also conducts community workshops in nonviolent communication for the public as well as community circles for both returnees and community members, together, to help returning prisoners reintegrate back into the community.
