Kindergarten Snacks

Each afternoon we will have snack and a milk break. You may purchase a milk ticket each month for $4.00. If you send money for a milk ticket please put it in an envelope with your child’s name and the words “milk ticket” on it. Monday – Thursday we have a snack from our snack cupboard. Parents are responsible for providing the snacks. At the beginning of each month, we ask if you would send a snack. Please send enough for 20 students. When sending snacks that require spoons, plates, forks, etc., please send those items as well. We do have access to a refrigerator and a microwave.

We do have a child with a life-threatening nut allergy in our school. Please avoid snacks that contain peanuts, peanut flour, peanut oil, or peanut butter. This includes snacks with almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, and walnuts. Below is a list of healthy snacks that are nut free.
