Language Arts- phonics: Dd, Cc, Kk, review Nn, short /a/ vowel, -ap, -an, blending sounds into words, hearing and recording sounds, phonemic awareness: rhyming, syllable blending/segmentation, sight words: like, to, the, strategy/skill: beginning, middle, ending of story
Math- ten-frame, count on from 5-frame up to at least 20 count, write, recognize numbers to 20, compare numbers, vocab: more, less, greater, fewer and equal
Religion- Mary and the Rosary, Promise Magazine- I can thank God.
Social Studies- Fire Safety
Science- Skeletal System

Turn in library books on or before designated day
October 10, 2016 -Columbus Day Holiday
October 12, 2016- field trip to Magik Theatre and Fire Station #11- students may wear spirit shirt with school shorts/pants and school shoes
October 29, 2016- Halloween Carnival in Holden’s Grove near church
October 31, 2016- send in treat to share at snack time, kinder. students may wear Halloween shirt/socks with school shorts
Nov. 1, 2016- All Saints Liturgy @ 8:15 a.m. students will dress up as their favorite saint
