JOB SUMMARY

Job Title : Coach EducationCo-ordinator
Location: Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Headquarters / Reports to:Senior Football Development Officer (Quality)
Job Purpose:To support the delivery of The FANational Game Strategy in Leicestershire & Rutland through the administration and co-ordination of the coach, referee and football workforce education programme.
Jobs Reporting into the Job Holder:

/ Salary and Hours of Duty:
£17,000 per annum (pro rata) 37.5hrs per week

Key Skills and Experience Required: Essential

  • Experience in a secretarial/administration role to include: dealing with suppliers, maintaining databases, monetary transactions.
  • Proven competency in the use ofMicrosoft Office including Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to adapt to new computer systems and technologies.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills, with a customer centric mentality.
  • Innovative problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to gather &utilise insight to make informed planning decisions.
  • Demonstration of equality and diversity and its application.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
/ Key Skills and Experience Required: Desirable
  • Knowledge of The FA’s National Game Strategy.
  • Knowledge of The FA’s Coach Education Framework and FA Licensed Coaches Club Membership.
  • Experience in sport / football administration.
  • Secretarial / administration qualification.
  • Experience in managing website content, E-Newslettersand
Social Media.
  • Knowledge of Leicestershire & Rutland County FA member clubs and leagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To administerand co-ordinatethe County FA Coach Education Programme by organisingeducational courses and workshops as identified in the County FA Strategic Plan.
  • Manage all telephone and email communications from candidates, clubs, leagues, schools, tutors and key partners.
  • Liaise with key partners within the Coach Education Programme locally and nationally, including FA Staff, FA Education, Further Education Colleges and Universities.
  • Provide full support to The FA County Coach Developer.
  • Establish and maintaindatabases for all aspects of the Coach Education Programme.
  • Support budget holders to monitor and manage budgets effectively.
  • Use modern and effective marketing and communication methods to raise awareness of the Coach Education Programme.
