Students who arrive to school out of SMOD will receive a ticket showing the exact
violation and will be given SMOD clothing item for the day or the option to call home to
have the SMOD item brought to school. If a student accumulates three tickets, the
administration will handle as a Level I violation of the Code of Conduct (policy 5131).
SMOD-FREE DAYS
KMS will occasionally have announced SMOD-Free days. Students will need to
adhere to the WS/FCS dress code.
Temperatures may vary in the building. It is recommended that students leave a SMOD
appropriate sweater, hoodie, or light jacket in their lockers at all times.
Students with SMOD infractions will have an opportunity to call home for a change of clothes,
get appropriate clothing from the SMOD closet, or spend the day in In-School Suspension.
