RECALCULATE 1st 9 WEEK GRADES

  1. Go to GradeBook—Controls—GradeBook Assignments
  2. Choose the class you want.
  1. If you haven’t already, enter all assignments for the 1st9 weeks. (The date for the assignments must be 8/9/06 through 10/12/06 or it will not be calculated in the thisgrade.)
  2. Go to the Daily Grades By Class panel, by clicking GradeBook—Grades By Class—Daily Grades. Choose the date of anyassignment. If you do not know the date, go to GradeBook Assignments, click the name of the last assignment (date must be 8/9/06 – 10/12/06, but not later than today) and then click the view icon . Recalculate your gradesby clicking the Recalculate button. You will now see

CHECK GRADES

  1. Go to GradeBook—Grades By Class—End of Cycle Grades.
  2. Choose the class you want.
  1. Type 02 for cycle and 02 for slot. Press Enter.
  1. Check to make sure grades in the column labeled 02 1STreflect the grade you want to give each student for the 1st9 weeks. You may overwrite grades here if necessary. Overwritten grades will turn Green.

ENTER CONDUCT & COMMENTS

  1. Go to GradeBook—Grades By Class—End of Cycle Grades.
  2. Choose the class you want.
  1. Type 02 for cycle and 02 for slot. Press Enter.
  1. Enter conduct for all students. You can default all students to an S by entering S in the Default Conduct field and then change individual students to an N or U as necessary. Click Save.(Leave Semester Conduct Blank).
  2. Press the page down key and complete information for page 2 of your students. Click Save. If necessary, press the page down key and complete information for page 3 of your students. Click Save.
  3. Click the Next Page icon (F9) to bring you to the comment page.

  1. Enter comments as necessary for students. A for Parent Teacher Conference Requested and/or B for Working Below Grade Level. Click Save. Repeat for each page of your students.
  1. Repeat for each of your classes.
  2. If required by your school, follow all steps for your homeroom class but use NG for all grades.

CONFIRMATION OF COMPLETION

  1. Check with your School-site Grade Contact as to the method of confirmation they would like to have that your grades are done by the School Deadline.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PRINT YOUR GRADES

  1. Go to GradeBook—Grades By Class—End of Cycle Grades.
  2. Choose the class you want.
  1. Type 02 for cycle and 02 for slot. Press Enter.
  1. Click the Print/Menu button . Type a Y in the menu field and click Apply. You will now see
  2. Type PRT in the Page field, and click Go.
  3. Click on the report once to highlight it.

The report will be the last one on your list. Under the User Data column it should read GB008.

  1. Click .
  2. When your print dialog box opens, choose your printer and print your grades.
